What if..........
What if this year I bought fewer gifts, but had the BIGGEST Christmas ever!
For so many people, this holiday season is not what they thought it would be. There are families that are really hurting in many ways. Some families have lost jobs, some are struggling with life threatening illnesses, some have children that have gone astray and some are praying everyday for the blessing of a child.
My goal this Christmas is to:
Worship fully
Spend less, but give more
and LOVE ALL.
For a lot of us, our country, our world has become uncertain and full of anxiety. It seems like everyone is feeling a pinch, at least a little one.
I am joining with an enormous, generous group of photographers who are banding together to offer custom portraits and lifelong memories, to deserving families. The initiative is called Giving is Awesome!
You know someone. You know someone who has experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising children while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can't afford custom photography, but would cherish it for years to come. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their families love, spirit and beauty. You know someone who deserves this blessing right now.
You know someone. I guarantee it.
I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience custom photography---$1,000 worth. The person who nominates the winner receives a $250 portrait credit!
The rules:
*You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services.
*Tell me who you know, what they are experiencing and why they deserve a family portrait session.
*Please email me the full story at christie@cyphotography.cominclude contact information for you and the family that you are nominating.
*All portrait credit awarded will expire on June 30, 2009, so plan on concluding your session early in '09.
* The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve in the morning so get nominating! I am excited to read all of the entries. Please submit your entry by December 22 at 5:00pm.
